Out here, connectivity is never guaranteed. My approach to development—what I call Vibe Coding—is built on the principle of the “Local-First” architecture. By utilizing a stack of Vanilla JavaScript, PHP, and JSON, I build tools that are lightweight enough to run anywhere and robust enough to handle data-heavy tasks without the bloat of modern frameworks.
Whether it’s an AR tool for identifying mineral deposits or a flight utility for navigating high-desert winds, these projects exist at the intersection of technical instruction and practical desert application. Every line of code is written to solve a specific problem in the field or the classroom.
